Because she ridiculed the deaths of those young soldiers. I have had a son out there - who thankfully came home - and who has now left the forces - but I know what it is like to worry about having a child out there. Not all his friends did come home. Although my son did not fight on the front line as he was a communications engineer - he was still at risk. The whole experience gave me a great deal of respect for those that died and for those that risk their lives.
Of course people have a right to an opinion - but they should be mindful when that subject is something they don't really know much about and should be more tactful about expressing such potentially offensive opinions. Do they have any understanding of the hurt and upset they could cause to someone on here who might have actually lost a son, daughter, mother, father etc. |

Well if you take what the Bible says literally, then yes they are.
Taking a life is taking a life. No exceptions to the rule. However there is the argument that if you repent for your sins then God will absolve you and still accept you into Heaven. I guess it all depends on your perspective and what you believe in.
