Not as badly as the Real World does but I think they play up to the cameras at times and the bit with Snooki on the phone while entertaining seemed a little too convenient. I enjoyed it for what it is though, trashy, terrible but oddly compelling.

yeah i saw an episode or two years ago when they used to show it on MTV, Plus without getting into the same argument it's fairly obvious that parts of Real world are faked since for example that fall would not have happened if it were real as MTV would be liable.

two whole episodes....It's a record so far for me when it comes to recent MTV shows. It's a bit staged but it's entertaining for what it is, I like Snooki she's hilarious.

It's a huge guilty pleasure for me.

It's official! The "Jersey Shore" crew will be making their way back to the, uh, Jersey Shore for season two of the reality hit. However, the cast will kick off the new season in Miami before heading back up North.

Season two of "Jersey Shore" premieres Thursday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Dude, i'm sorry but that's just a delusional and ignorant comment to make. You don't know anything about American reality shows except for, like you said, Flavor of Love (which yes, is a bit fake). Not every reality show is fake because it's 'edited'. Even Big Brother is edited to an extent. But certain shows can only be on air for a certain amount of weeks, 1 time a week within a span of one hour per episode. Therefore, all of the footage that has happened over 3-4 months has to be edited down to 12-13 hours.

It may seem hard to believe to you, but Jersey Shore isn't fake either. If you've seen some of them ACTUALLY try to act, you would know that they are complete **** at it. It's all real. Those people are really like that, that's how most young people from Jersey are.
