he was an obvious flop the second he won - he should never have won this show as he had nothing but a nice voice and a cute face - nothing unique or marketable about him

it comes down to the demographics that actually pick up the phone and vote - he is a granny's delight and at that time was eye candy for the teenage girls. Problem is he was a forgettable granny's delight / eye candy for teenage girls and the 'voting public' have easily forgotten him

His 'comeback' on XF hardly blew anyone away either, i think he will go the same way as Leon (who IMO was another unworthy winner)
