Speaking to OK!, Amy Childs speaks for the first time about her love split from Joe Hurlock and insists she didn't play away with a footballer.

Amy explained: "I'm really upset but I think it was the right decision. I'm so busy, and at one point I just didn't see Joe, so we didn't have anything in common. It started going downhill after my 21st birthday."

She's a beautician by trade so it's little wonder that Amy Childs applies the knowledge acquired through her job to her own appearance.

But it seems that she was caught short en route to ITV's London Studios to film her guest spot on This Morning.

The 21-year-old breezed into the studios with her curlers still in her hair as she geared up to present her beauty spot on the daytime show.

Amy was pictured with multi-coloured curlers in her hair wearing a bright orange top with beige trousers and a pair of tan wedge heels.

She recently joined the This Morning team as a beauty expert, off the back of her success on The Only Way Is Essex.

Keeping your curlers in your hair in public is a look that has slowly permeated down from Liverpool, where it may have originated.

In the north-west city it's not uncommon to see women walking around the main shopping precinct with curlers in their hair on a Saturday lunchtime.

The star of BAFTA-award winning reality show The Only Way Is Essex oozed style following a guest slot on This Morning.

Amy, 21, wore a pair of leopard print leggings that accentuated her shapely behind and featured cut out sheer sections along the front.

She combined the bottoms with a stylish black leather biker jacket, a black shirt, shiny patent heels and a pair of aviator shades.

Unusually for Amy she was covered up from head to toe - the TOWIE is famous for baring her cleavage at every opportunity.

She'd been on the daytime TV show to present her beauty advice slot, which she started presenting this week.
