With most of her The Only Way Is Essex co-stars up in Liverpool partying with Hollyoaks castembers, Childs looked to her new celebrity friends to help her toast her landmark birthday.

The birthday girl looked stunning in a dramatic black Pia Michi gown - created by the same label who designed her BAFTA Television Awards gown.

Joining the birthday girl were fellow celebrity clients from her management company Can Associates - Peter Andre, Nicola McLean and Danielle Brown.

AMY Childs is to cash in on troubled Kerry Katona’s fall with her own reality show.

Kerry Katona was axed by her management firm CAN Associates after failing to clean up her act.

Now CAN, who also have Peter Andre, 38, on their books, are set to make TOWIE’s Amy, 21, their next mega-star.

A source said: “She’s everything Kerry isn’t. Hard-working, reliable and stable. She knows how to party but also where to draw the line.”

Beautician and Chief Essex Girl Amy Childs has been selected to appear in style bible Vogue, meaning the 21-year-old has made the same leap from glamour modelling to high fashion that her idol Katie Price made in 2006.

Normally reserved for the likes of Emma Watson and Kate Moss, Vogue's pages feature haute couture fashion and beauty editorial, so Amy might seem a strange choice for the prestigious magazine. The TOWIE star is famous for her glowing tan and heavy make-up, while her sartorial choices are predictably more 'Essex' than those you would expect to see on a fashion runway.

The Vogue photo shoot comes after it emerged that Lime Pictures, the production company behind The Only Way Is Essex, is trying to sell the idea of a TOWIE fashion line to high street stores like New Look. The company allegedly registered a trademark with the Intellectual Property Office for TOWIE-branded clothes and accessories earlier this month.

It's not very often that you see Amy Childs out and about without a layer of heavy-duty make-up.

So it came as something of a surprise to see the TOWIE star looking a lot more natural on Saturday as she posed for photos for the prestigious fashion magazine Vogue.

The 21-year-old beautician opted for a more sophisticated look for the shoot - which in keeping with the spirit of the ITV2 show took place on the Essex coast.

And she kept her outfit simple for the photos, wearing a clinging black minidress, teamed with matching black leather jacket and high-heeled ankle boots.

However Amy appeared to be enjoying the chance to be featured in the magazine, pouting and posing her way through the shoot - and at one point sitting precariously on a bollard in the street while resting her feet on a crate.

THE Only Way Is Essex babe Amy Childs is “shocked and upset” after thieves ransacked her home and stole her computers.

The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs, 21, had been at a birthday bash for Peter Andre’s daughter Princess, four, then out for dinner with family when the raiders struck.

They tore the place apart and took presents and jewellery which Amy had been given for her 21st birthday just two weeks ago, as well as laptops, bank cards and an iPad.

Police said the thieves smashed their way in through a rear kitchen window at the house in Brentwood, Essex, on Wednesday. Last night a spokesman for Amy said: “She is shocked and upset. The place was turned upside down.”

And an Essex Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses. If anyone saw anything suspicious they should call 0300 333 4444.”

The big-boobed brunette, 21, is the subject of a bidding war following her sensational success on The Only Way Is Essex.

And the News of the World can also reveal that Amy has signed up for the third series of that reality show, despite fears she'd leave to do her own fly-on-the-wall series.

A TV insider said: "Amy has agreed to go back. It is a huge relief to everyone at ITV. But she knows that TOWIE launched her career and she wants to stay loyal to it."

The beauty salon owner is now deciding which other programme to go for following a flood of offers.

Our source said: "Amy is a hot property and several shows are desperate to secure her because she'll create huge attention for them.

Strictly would be a brilliant move for her because it would introduce her to a new audience but she's nervous because she doesn't feel it's her cup of tea.

"Meanwhile I'm A Celebrity and Big Brother would give her a real chance to show off her personality.

She's actually really intelligent, natural and funny, which you don't always get to see on TOWIE because the scenes are set up."

Amy, who is managed by top celeb agent Claire Powell, is also in demand to advertise clothing lines and other retail products, and is set to make millions in the next year.

Television broadcaster ITV plc (LON:ITV) is trying to get the ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star Amy Childs for their next season reality show “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here”.

She has also been sought for a variety of celebrity dancing competitions like Strictly Come Dancing, as well as Celebrity Big Brother.

ITV plc (LON:ITV) has signed another deal with her to appear in the third series of TOWIE, which launched her career.

ITV plc (LON:ITV) shares stood at 74.05 at the end of the last trading session.

However, The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs was looking positively demure yesterday as she headed out looking as if she'd had something of a make under. Gone were the plunging necklines, vampish dresses or mini skirts, and instead, the 21-year-old star was wearing a pretty white long sleeve blouse with a sweetheart neckline and cream tailored trousers with matching wedge sandals.

Perhaps the red headed beauty's her new look is down to the new person overlooking Amy's choice of clothes and overall look. Just last week, she was wearing tiny denim shorts and a tight red and white checked bustier to launch a new competition to find the female faces of Alton Towers - 20 so-called 'Coaster Cuties.' But yesterday, Amy revealed on her Twitter that her friend Jade Elliott was now her new stylist.

Beauty therapist Amy was meanwhile getting a taste of her own medicine yesterday when she went to her local Virgin Active gym in Chigwell to get a massage at the club's health spa and her eyebrows waxed. She's clearly getting herself in tip top condition ahead of the start of filming for the new series of TOWIE, which is due to get underway in a matter of weeks.

The second series finished in May and there were rumours and mutterings that Amy would be leaving the show. But she dismissed the reports and told us: 'We start filming the third series in September and I will be back, I am not leaving. I love TOWIE! As long as everyone continues to enjoy it, then hopefully the show will go on. And we're so used to the camera crew now, that they've become our family.'

The new series returns to ITV2 in September.

'The Only Way Is Essex' star admits she occasionally dreamed of being on television, but was happy with her job as a beautician before she got approached to star on the show.

She said: "Was it my dream to be famous? Not really. I always used to say to my family that I'd like to be on TV, but I loved my 9-5 job.

"I was a beautician in a great salon and was happy going to work every day.

"But then I got asked to do 'TOWIE. That was it, it's just been given to me."

Amy, 21, also admitted she thinks people view her as "ditzy" because of the show, but she insists she is very different.

She told Reveal magazine: "People think I just talk about vajazzles all the time. That I sit in a salon painting my nails while talking about where I'm going on holiday.

"I'm actually very business minded. I'm not ditzy.

"People don't think I've been to school, but I actually went to private school."

"People are always quite shocked by that but, yeah, I was head girl at Raphael Independent School in Hornchurch.

"I’m proud because I have dyslexia and didn’t do well in my GCSEs.

AMY Childs will add some vajazzle to ITV1's This Morning after bagging her own beauty slot.

The Only Way Is Essex star will appear this summer with her guide for viewers, called The Only Way Is Amy's.

Amy, 21, named Personality of the Year last week at the first National Reality TV Awards, will give style and beauty tips.

And she will be joined on the show by Imogen Thomas.

The ex-Big Brother star will broadcast from beaches and campsites across the UK each Thursday, along with Stacey Solomon, Brian Dowling and Su Pollard.
