I've heard it all now. Jade was racist scum, an the fact she died prematurely and tragically doesn't change that. She knew exactly what she was saying to Shilpa. Exactly, I couldn't go up to a group of black guys, and say " hey, my N, how is a brother?" And then say I'm just quoting Chris Rock, or Dr. Dre.

We have a shameful history of slavery and racism in this country, and many people alive today have been victims of racially motivated violence/assaults.

Anyone who was offended by that better never watch any episode of Family Guy or South Park. Fair enough if BB was some family show but I can't see how that joke was so distasteful when you had Rebeckha talking about urinating on someone in the first episode.

Besides that joke would be considered as a compliment to most.

I remember a girl got a warning in BB Australia for a racist joke that was actually offensive.

Also my opinion of Aaron has fallen after tonight's ''performance'' , he really is truly playing the game he said on opening night he would. Playing the game is fine but not at the expense of someone's reputation (Jay, yes I know his rep isn't great to begin with but still).

I have had this conversation with a black friend of mine this morning and the only thing he found offensive is people jumping on the racism button just to try and make someone look bad and also pissed off at the patronising attitude of some people that think black people need looking after like they cant defend themselves.

I think it was for two things, neither of them actually to do with BB being bothered with 'racism'.

1. They wanted to show jay getting in 'trouble' following him ****ting in that freezer and it not being addressed at all (despite that being far more offensive and gainst BB rules then saying what he said).

2. They wanted to show that confusing footage of Aaron in the DR after very badly.

Ofc it also starts threads like this which gain sympathy for Jay.

I think it'sobvious that the BB team have decided that the Jay/Lou 'story' will carry them for the next couple of weeks and everything we see over the next few days will chosen to be to that end.

Yeah I know that was weird, it'd be more likely he'd go to someone like Anton who he's friends with and was actually there when he said it :/ unless he was just going to bed anyway, saw Aaron near to him and spontaneously decided to ask him thinking he was one of the more sensible and mature in there But when Aaron seemed really shocked I thought Jay did look a little surprised and embarrassed, I wouldn't like to think Jay knew about his wife having been in a wheelchair and then decided to tell him the joke

I don't know, something was definitely missing some where in the story. This is happening alot actually with Big brother in general since this series started. Something always feels wrong about peoples reactions to things, like we've missed out on an important piece of the puzzle

Yeah definitely, thing is I was reading yesterday that C5 have splashed out on surveillance equipment and they actually have the largest number of cameras to date for a BB series. Given that it really makes no sense for them to not have a LF tbh

I have feeling though that the lack of l/f is less about the money and more about wanting to control what we see and what kind of a show we get. I'm getting more and more fed up with all these "Reality" shows tbh, I'm on the verge of having reality show protest and not watching any of them anymore (Gavin is praying for that day to come!)
