yeah but it makes more sense. It makes his dads parts more relevant and the fortune tellers. Also, why he wouldn't have been in part 2 or 3 as he was dead it just gives the film a better message, you can't just change everything and make it alright, you were never meant to be.

as in you can't just go and change stuff to make it better, it leaves a stronger impact on you, well, it did me, that was the ending I saw first time I saw it. Second time I watched it on TV and I was shocked that they'd changed the ending
