how long do you have to wait to be induced after your due date? cause 2 weeks that sounds horrible

..yeah, it's usually two weeks Ninastar...mind I have to say that my son was born yellow, so he wasn't really late..they got the dates wrong and induced me....

..he was 100% Bart Simpson...

Apparently if theres no sign by 41 weeks I will be offered a sweep(which sounds utterly awful if you google it ). But if you get to 42 weeks they induce you as far as I am aware.

..Inducing isn't really that bad though Vicky..I wouldn't say it's any worse than a natural labour....I've had both and they were about the same...

I had a sweep Vicky....it's not that bad and I thought anything that helps is a bonus.... the thought is worse than the reality. Oh and it worked for me, I had him the day after...

..yeah, I've just googled the sweep...it isn't anything to worry about Vicky..it's more or less the same as an induction, without the pills...very similar to what I had, and there's nothing to worry about..

In all honesty if I can pop a baby out anyone can, I'm am hospital/doctor phobic. It all sounds horrible but the reality is not so bad. Its the next 18 years that are the worst...
