That's exactly thoughts, I'm absolutely gutted about this I loved watching LF, it just shows it was on in the wrong time slot.

I think they did it to prove they were right when saying "no one watches live feed".


I can imagine them saying *If we stick it on at a really awkward time where it has no chance in the ratings then its justified in us not running a live stream. Then if we give it no promotion whatsoever its a done deal.

Absolute *****.

Either that or they really are that dumb and don't know how to market or schedule their programming because late nigh live feed still gets over 500k and has even surpassed 1 million on other occasions.

I think they may actually be just a little bit dumb.

Well the night feed at 4--/500k has really buggered that for them.
I totally have no doubt the feeds home and natural place is online
it started off online only (BB1) it was when C4 got fancy ideas it mutated onto TV via the red button.
Channel 5 should have taken it back to the original idea online and even if it was basic 1 camera per room (dedicated feed cam) that was the way forward.

So many angry fans out there this is something C5 really didn't need

It was in a terrible timeslot against Emmerdale, EE and Corrie most nights,I forgot it was on tbh,caught a couple of them and they were boring.10/12 might be a better timeslot.

Livefeed will never get massive figures so for them to use that as an excuse for the axe is taking the p*ss. To put it at 7pm was a daft idea too against soaps then complain about the figures. I'm starting to agree with the people who think it was put on to prove it was'nt needed.

If they aired it midnight-2:00am like in the US, the content would probably be better, and it would be cheaper to broadcast.

Apparently 2 DS members contacted them.

One was told about moving the slot... "No final decision but looking unlikely"
And the other was on the phone to someone from Ch5 who didn't know what to say when challenged with the question about the slot move.

So, to be honest, it looks like Ch5 have no idea what the **** they are doing with their life.

True. Of course, with the US version which I grew up with, you're not really watching BB. You're watching Survivor-In-A-House with a large helping of The Bachelor. "Big Brother" isn't even a character on the US version, never heard from or referred to.

Anyway all we can hope for now is an extended post eviction feed.

Even 30 minutes of feed leading up to the eviction show would have rated well.

Its all about them being able to swallow their pride though because if they move its time it looks like they have been incompetent and are admitting they ****ed up.

This way though they can just blame the ratings.

Why have no live feed ratings been released for a while now aswell?

in fairness to C5, we have to take the fair share of the blame, I've watched most of the LF sessions so far, but the forum thread has been totally dead with just a few regular posters.

Saw that coming a mile off, it was just a matter of time before they scrapped it again. I don't think they ever intended keeping it, it was just to pacify the fans for a while imo, and to draw the viewers in before they scrapped it again. So glad I am not bothering with this series at all.
