I love the weather effects, I do have a warning though if you haven't seen this yet, if it's looking like a duststorm, head indoors (like a vault or a dungeon),

More than likely, lightning's going to go off, it will give off 5 rads every time lightning strikes then go down to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 then 0.

Or pop some Rad-X like a boss and worry about any residual radiation that gets through later.

I of use radaway if things get desperate, otherwise I just let them build for a few missions then go the the doctor in diamond city or at The Castle (settlement which I have totally pimped out, it's an awesome monstrosity...)

I found a Chem Station in Sancturary, it's behind the house with the Chem dealer computer I think.

In my game I've gotten to Diamond City and Piper's now my companion. Kinda sad you can only have one companion at a time cause I'm working on Curtain Call (Where you have to climb a tower full of supermutants to save Rex Thompson, it's right by Diamond City) right now and I want to keep both Piper and the Super Mutant.

You can send piper away for a bit and travel with different companions as you need them?

I'm not really sure if any of them have specific side missions... the only available companions I have atm are Piper, Dogmeat, the Minute men dude and...actually that's it :/ but I can't say no to Dogmeat... plus the minutemen guy was kinda judgmental with everything so I'm letting him wait at the castle or wherever it was where he's expecting my backup so I can do the brotherhood missions without him

Piper and Strong would not get along... Piper wants you to be good and above all truthful (increases her affection for you) and Strong... Well... Strong likes it when you straight up shoot people in the face for no reason.

I'm playing a mostly-good male character with Piper as companion for my main playthrough. My second playthrough (in a year when the PC molding community will no doubt have worked wonders with the game) I think I'm going to be a evil as **** female character and essentially just wander around with Strong, murdering people .

I have the opposite problem. I have a few hours before work to play, really try to commit to actually getting some of the missions or storyline done, then two hours later I've built half of a giant metal pyramid and had to abandon it anyway because of lack of space...

Goodneighbor is nice. And I enjoyed tracking down the lost brotherhood recon team. But otherwise I'm just doing side missions for now lol. Bloody mirelurks are everywhere.

I just recently did that mission, sadly just after I did reunions and so when I saw the Brotherhood of Steel arrive, I decided to finish a couple BOS missions before going back to the base, including the Lost Patrol

So now Danse is my companion and I can't finish the mission now. I went through hell with the Supermutants trying to find the last beacon.

There's not really much point - it activates through Steam anyway and will auto-download a massive patch. Might as well get it through steam in the first place!
