I do understand some (well, many to be fair) of people's grievances with him and I'd never suggest he's a perfect human being, but definitely not a bully or anything close imo. |

To address some points...
re: Joel - trust me, I could have gone on and on about him asking basic questions in order to generate conflict to make himself look noble so he could walk away from it all with a childish smirk, or I could have also slammed him on his whole self-identity being political to the point where his Twitter handle is @JoelTory. However, I ****ing hate Joel and would rather not, so my goal is to go for the most succinct takedown. And I won't disagree that it is kinda gross that there was a whole subplot about Joel's sexuality, and yes he's young and it's awful to go through that sort of identity crisis on national TV (the "I'm not gay!" phrase is awkward enough as it is.) Unfortunately, BB16 sucks and Joel sucks so I'm not going to waste any of my sympathy on him. It's like how I certainly agreed with Aaron's ejection and I definitely think Sarah suuuuuucked in reaction to the ejection (oops let me edit her in as another Dishonorable Mention), but that doesn't make me like Joel any more. re: Willow - if you're quoting a list that says at the bottom that some strategic decisions were made in creating that list, then of course it's not entirely accurate and subject to change a few months later. I found Willow to be pretty damn annoying and more often offensively boring than not, you clearly didn't. We all watched ~30 hours of episodes plus supplemental feeds footage. The people who like Willow after all that time certainly aren't going to change their views on her, and the people who don't give a **** about her certainly aren't going to either. There just comes a time where you let it go and move on. re: Marc (and Helen) - I hate all the argued semantics behind whether or not someone's a bully, but Marc's hobbies consisted of calling women fat and ugly and slutty (even though he's a stripper himself and never wore pants), physically overpowering men and simulating sex acts on them, and shouting in men's faces and grinning in their faces when they were angry at behavior designed to anger them. It's supposedly all for banter and for the sake of being A Bloody Brilliant WUM, but is it really that when there needs to be a safe word involved? It all makes no sense. I do agree that Helen and Marc are cut largely from the same cloth, but I do think that they carry themselves differently. I'll also say that the one think I will NEVER understand is how some people think that Marc turned into a bully when Helen came in. I didn't notice any difference in his behavior post-Helen and think he largely acted the same. I guess it all comes down to whether you think Marc's a generally nice guy who can occasionally be an asshole, or an overwhelming asshole who is occasionally capable of being nice.

Both are vile people. They are just vile in different ways. Marc, although not as brash, hostile, and confrontational than Helen, had a nasty and provocative demeanor to his personality. And overall was just a disgusting human being and a pig. |

Austin is honestly one of my least favourite housemates of all time. I definitely would level the title of bully at him. Horrific that he finished as high as runner up but at least good beat evil in the end.

I don't think Austin was a bully at all. That word is fitting for housemates like Helen, Conor, Sezer, Alexandra, Pauline, etc. I understand why people dislike him, but I personally don't think he bullied anyone. At worst he was just an aggressive/emotional...dare I say it twat with an overly bad temper. His worst crime was that night where he just went full throttle OTT on Janice (which I thought was uncalled for). But outside of that, I don't think he was as nasty as say Farrah who said some pretty hurtful and disgusting things in her early weeks (although she did grow on me in the end)
