Its because you are under a North wind straight down the side of Denmark and into Holland so bringing in some cloud, the further South and away from the sea the hotter

Birmingham or Manchester will be our hottest today, maybe another 29/30

weds and thurs will be hotter still

yes heatwave will go from UK to Scandinavia, from what i've seen on bbc weather and our weather
