One of the judges has had to back out this week so I have had a very kind stand in who is sending feedback later. So it wont be any later than tomorrow!

Ladies and Gentlemen we are at week 1 on the 5th series of Strictly Tibb Dancing!

Our couples are taking on the movies this week. But who will have a Blockbuster of a routine and who will flop straight to the bargain bin.

It is time to hit the dancefloor!

We also need to point out that Mitchell flew to Germany this week and has now had to isolate. Brought back to fill in is the legend herself Miss Amy Jade!

Darling, if I was judging this as a salsa you'd get a big fat ZERO because this was disco more than anything sweetie so please look up your dance styles, but nevertheless I enjoyed it regardless.


Amy Jade:
This was unexpected! I thought it could end up looking cheesy and stompy but you did a wonderful job, really brought some spice to the dance floor! What a start!



Barry:
A good opening of the show. You missed a few steps but it’s the first week so no worries. I enjoyed it though

That was a complete disaster darling but well at least you tried


Amy Jade:
On paper this was a bit of a disaster but on the dance floor it was glorious, you looked incredible and gave me everything I could have asked for. Please pay attention to your arms next time though, I saw a few claw hands but that's nothing.


Barry:
I just love this song and I thought it worked well with a quickstep. Good job

Sweetie are you okay? I like the routine and you clearly have talent but you cannot do a Charleston to this song, it was street commercial so I suggest you go back to the training room and try again


Amy Jade:
Not sure if this really worked for me, I think you did well but I wanted oomph and you never really gave it in my opinion, just fell a bit flat I'm sorry.


Barry:
Ok. So I did enjoy it but this is was a hard dance to do week one. You’ll improve no doubt though

Ohhh yeeesss! This was brilliant, I can tell you've been practising and it really showed in that routine. Absolutely fab!

5. Samba to Love is in the air from Strictly Ballroom

I wouldn't have thought of dancing the Samba to this song sweetie but your partner is obviously a genius in the choreography department. This was a joy!


Amy Jade:
I think this was good, I enjoyed watching but I think you made a few mistakes and with the standard being so high I have to look at little things and I simply enjoyed other performances more. A bit forgettable.


Barry:
This song works so well with a samba. It ticked the right boxes and it was great

That was beautiful darling, honestly brought a tear to my eye. The extension, the posture, the emotion it was all there. I'm very partial to a violin


Amy Jade:
This just worked for me, sometimes the unexpected really does just blow you away and this gave me romance and some drama. Can't ask for more, great start. You could be a dark horse!

That was nice, I just don't think you can pull this off week 1 hunny. It was a tad boring and I think the nation went and made a cuppa tea during your performance.


Amy Jade:
This was just beautiful. I really felt a connection between you and your partner and after just a small time together that's just phenomenal. If anything I would say watch your facial expressions, I saw you fall out of character once or twice.


Barry:
Contemporary to this song was good. It was story telling and just wonderful. This week is shaping up to be a good week.

my song choices are my own decisions, and it is just time to let go for me, have more fun

i could've easily topped leaderboard with greatest showman or high school musical, but what is the fun in that, and yes those were my other 2 choices for movie week quickstep
