Cautiously relieved by this news.

I'm also interested to know what happens re: the outcome of the match. A forfeit for Denmark would be unfair towards Finland, but surely there's no time for a replay or resumption. Would it be called as a draw?

If it's his heart and he's now in hospital his chances (medically) are very good as they'll be monitoring closely and can intervene immediately.

His career is likely to be over though, which of course isn't a huge concern when compared to his life.

also glad they showed the CPR as it shows just how hard you need to do it for it to be effective. Its important that things like this are broadcast and not hidden.

God bless the paramedics and response team who saved his life

Marc Vivien Foe was the first person I remember this happening to but thank God they're more prepared now I think and they probably had the best medical care available

Massive respect to both teams for continuing the game as well
