Disgusted by this, even more disgusted as a WHU fan. Not sure what they were thinking playing him the other night (although I do take on board what MTVN said earlier...).

Like I say in all threads about animal cruelty, animal wardens in the US are trained to look for child abuse, because one so often follows the other.

Yes ... I read something years ago that 99% of sex offenders had a history of animal cruelty ...

( not the other way though .. so animal cruelty convictions don’t necessarily lead onto to sex offending )

Sadly, animal abuse and child abuse is often linked, hence why the US train their animal wardens to look for both. A bully is a bully. Sexual predators are something different again. IMO they should all spend time inside.

Also an ALARMING number of high-profile serial killers upon some digging into their past, revealed a history of animal abuse (and killing animals) in adolescence. It's just a major red flag in general I suppose. Shows empathy issues.

Of course it's worse to be an animal abuser than it is to say something racist.

It's not really about it being better or worse, players should be shown the door for racism too, but it's a bit of an odd comparison because it's a completely unrelated question. Both are unacceptable but racism isn't "a worse form of kitten kicking" or vice versa.
