Why is it framed as “heard supporters” and not “depp detractors”? Depp is an abuser and yes there is abundant evidence of it, already upheld in court. This is regardless of what Heard has also done. It’s not a competition about “who was worse” and then declaring the other an angel. It’s a complex situation and some of the things he’s quite clearly done are horrendous. The widespread support of Depp online is fuelled by high-profile MRA accounts and the whole thing has already resulted in more abused women being treated with suspicion. It is misogyny.
