we have a jobs excess at the moment so creating a million new ones makes no sense at all

Good speech.
Still lacks the inspirational passion it could but that's his style I guess.

Overall fine by me nothing to create controversy which will irritate the Cons intensely.

all he has to to is stand there muttering nothing in particular and the rest of his party destroys him. Last year it was tory scum, this year it's racist slurs, previously it was antisemitism.... it really doesn't get any worse than that

There are part time workers being threatened with Universal credit cuts unless they step up to finding better paid and/ or full time work.
Often they can't do so, as like with a supermarket near me.
Where their contracts of 33 hours guaranteed weekly were reduced to 16 guaranteed.
However, they are expected to be on call at short notice to do more hours if staff are off sick or otter reasons.

I'd love to see undisputable genuine figures of how many people are actually called on the payroll who have only part time hours or even zero hours contracts.

So actually possibly creating more FULL TIME jobs in a whole new venture may prove to be far more a sensible approach for the future.
I'd think do anyhow.

One racist slur doesn't reflect on a Party.
She's lost the whip, that's right, she should.
It's dealt with rapidly.

There have been many complaints as to racism in the Con party.

Fully how Cons sidestep those.

Whatever happened to this open independent inquiry into racism in the Con part that Javid made all the leadership candidates put their hands up to commit to.

This MP was wrong absolutely.
How the party acted is the more important and they acted rapidly too.
I'm happy and proud with that .

It would be unprintable what I've called Johnson and some of the Cabinet.
Scum would be a more moderate word.

Scum means like dregs that rise to the top.
Pretty appropriate that seems in my view, looking at Johnson rising to the top of the Cons when he did and was.

At the very least it should be made a strongly serious criminal act to release sewage into rivers and the sea.
Good move.

Labour Party to set up the GB Energy Group.
[a new, publicly owned company that will generate
renewable sources "to cut bills, create jobs and
deliver energy independence".]

Like France's EDF

Starmers best showing since taking over, with lots of progressive agenda items. Unfortunately it's starmer, so he could go back on everything tomorrow, but we live in hope.
