Looking at the media today, Penny is finished. Everywhere I look, all I see and hear are nasty comments about her.

It's rather weird also, that Kemi voters are switching to Truss to 'keep Penny out'.

Then why be a Kemi fan if you really like Truss.

the simple reality for a party leader is that they have to be liked by the press, if they are not, like penny, then they stand no chance of being a success. For me, Sunak was always the only one that stood half a chance of being successful. I still think this leadership contest isa waste of time as the tories will be out at the next election. Just to add that i think we are looking at 8 years before the tories will recover enough to be a realistic option at a GE

The attacks were constant and from everywhere. Most of the allegations against Penny were proven to be untrue, BUT that didn't stop them from being repeated again and again until the message DO NOT LET PENNY WIN was hammered home.

it's difficult to feel any sympathy for her to be honest, she is no angel and quite frankly, every single contestant has been rotten one way or another
