Yeah, I don't think they mix the characters up enough. Most of them end up playing a really similar character every season. I loved how Sarah paulson managed to play two very different personalities in Freak Show though

Yeah, I think that's one of the more underwhelming parts of seasons 3 and 4, they don't seem to take advantage of the fact that they are self contained stories and change things as drastically as they could. Comes across very lazy.

Either that or they don't have much faith in the versatility of the actors.

yep exactly. That was one of the things I was excited about with this kind of format but they haven't used it at all

I'm hoping thats what they mean by saying a reinvention, the actors will be playing really different rolls for a change, and seeing as its set in the present day I'm hoping they don't give gags any singing to do (unless it something like the name game where it's a delirium state and it adds something, not like freak show where they just put in a number for the sake of it) it'd be quite cool to if someone said to her "has anyone ever told you you look like lady Gaga? "No?!" or if her music was playing in the background whilst she's decapitating someone

Yeah. It seems to be that when they saw what a hit that name game scene was in Asylum, they took it to mean that we want to see that all the time, which is certainly not the case for me anyway. I loved the name game scene but it fit, it was a bizarre scene but a one off

Paleyfest is March 15 where the main cast will be unveiled and probably the main synopsis of the show
