131. Sophie Pritchard (BB3 - 8th Place)

Sophie... was a presence... that was liked. I'm sure her stay in the house seemed tragic but it's actually the most hilariously cliche intruder saga ever? Pretty girl enters house late. Pretty girl is nice, but still inspires hatred from people (in this case, Tim (

) and Jade (

).) Pretty girl may or may not experience bullying, but at the very least is ostracized and becomes a figure of sympathy. In spite of this, pretty girl is still evicted in less than a month's time. Like I said, maybe it was a unique trajectory for a HM to follow in 2002 but like... pick a female intruder and the odds are probably greater than 50% that she followed a path very similar to the one I just described!

So yeah, Sophie wasn't particularly remarkable but she was very nice and one of the better ones in BB3. Sadly, she was not Sandy or Alex or Tim or Adele so I didn't really care too much. She seems like the type of person who would actually become legitimately super famous post-BB, but all she did was guzzle Lee's sperm and pop out his spawn!

126. Rodrigo Lopes (BB10 - 5th Place)

I think the forum opinion of Rodrigo (now known as "Rebekah Shelton") is mixed-leaning-towards-positive, but I can't say that I'm too much of a Rodrigo fan myself! I think a lot of the positives associated with him are his friendship with Sophie, his love for The Queen, and his "showmance" with Charlie, if you even call it that? Unfortunately, none of those things did anything for me, and the main thing I remember Rodrigo for are his INSANE and uncomfortable meltdowns. Like, we're not just talking about your Nikki Grahame-esque meltdowns or even your pathetic wannabe Nikki Grahame-esque meltdowns. Like, on the Official BBUK Meltdown Sliding Scale, pretty much all of Rodrigo's tantrums were in the "Chanelle doesn't want to take her medication" and "Chanelle has to play the violin for a task" category, which, again, is soooooooooooo much more uncomfortable than entertaining. Like, I don't end up laughing at all, I just awkwardly mute that tab on my laptop and wait for it to be over.

Most of these meltdowns were because Rodrigo had a BIZARRE obsession with following the show's rules, and unfortunately for Rodrigo he lived in a house with Freddie and Marcus and ****ing Siavash, so that meant that we were subjected to at least one meltdown a week where Rodrigo was screeching at the top of his lungs and punching the DR chair and being on the verge of destroying the DR camera. And if it wasn't people breaking the rules, it was Charlie having a weird prank war that was just them flirting, but then Rodrigo would suddenly decide ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and then melt the **** down when he got called to the DR because he felt like the show was blaming him for the fight taking place when, again, he was just trying to follow the rules!!! Again, it might sound great on paper but in practice I felt soooooooo uncomfortable.

But again, he was a cute twink who was Brazilian but obsessed with The Queen and the BB10 cast was generally so unlikable that he came in fifth, only to have a tragic as **** post-show life including a sex change that alienated him from his family, a coma, and an appearance on Judge Rinder? It's a shame, but I literally never think about Rodrigo or Rebekah unless I am forced to so I'm ready to be done with this write up x

114. Becki Seddiki (BB5 - 5th Place)

She came from Big Brother in Italy!!!!! So Becki is a presence that is liked. And I don't dislike her, but I don't really know why she was saved numerous (!) times and made it this far??? Was she fine? Yeah. Was she unfairly booed a vicious amount? Absolutely. But did she do anything to deserve roaring cheers? .......not really! She was nice enough and never really had enough time to find her niche in the House, so she was just kinda awkwardly existing, pretending to be Italian and sealing her own fate by giving Michelle the Judas Kiss and being sweet regarding the whole Nadia situation. But ultimately Becki is not Michelle or Nadia or Victor or Jason or Shell or Stuart or Ahmed or [insert one of the many, many superior BB5 persons]; she was ultimately just an intruder on a series that was so good that you forget there was even an intruder.

Josie Gibson

I don't hate Josie, I just don't care much for her. At all. Or even BB11 for that matter. And she was a pretty big part of that series, with what being the other half of a showmance that I also didn't care about. She ended up winning with almost 80% of the vote against five people and I'm sure that's the highest winning percentage ever, but that isn't really much of an achievement when your competition consists of Dave and JJ. Anyway, she's made a name for herself after the show and is one of the more famous ex-housemates (as famous as post-2006 BB will get you anyway) and she lost a lot of weight so good for her!

Why does that last bit sound like something from a Cal write-up?

154th Place: Jennifer Clark

“Rex what ‘av yous don to me painting man?” - You wouldn’t have thought that a smudge of pizza would go on to cause as much turmoil as it did, but I don’t really care for either side in the actual incident itself; Rex was immature for doing it in the first place and Jennifer’s response was simply ridiculous. Obviously things really got heated and Dennis spat at Mo and was thankfully given the boot.

So why have I scrapped Jen? People on here mention victim-shaming in BB and bring up the obvious examples (Sarah/Joel etc) but nobody ever seems to bring up this one: “Mo I hope you know how disgusten you are and the public are gonna see you for what you are too”. Now, I know that’s not the exact quote, but what the fuck? Was Jennifer that thick that she didn’t understand spitting in someone else’s face is morally wrong and disgusting? She was swiftly evicted in the third week with 89.7% (!) of the vote and yeah the boos were horrendous but then she was pretty horrendous too.

As someone in the midst of a slow BB9 rewatch and recent Jennifer convert, I feel the need to respond (also as someone who brought up the Sarah/Joel thing in this very thread at one point!) To me, the difference is that A of all) literally nobody sided with Jennifer since Dennis's ejection was clear as day the right choice. For some reason, the Aaron ejection is a bit more contested so there are actual some forums posters who still think he was unfairly ejected and think that Sarah Was Right About Joel, and B of all) I'm sorry but Jennifer was *SUCH* a ****ing cartoon character and her morph into a shrieking harpy came out of nowhere that I ate that **** up. "YEAH WELL LET'S HOPE JUSTICE IS SERVED, YEAH? LET'S HOPE MOHAMED GOES!" and "NO THEY WON'T THOUGH, NO THEY WON'T LUKE! BECAUSE THEY'LL FEEL SORRY FOR HIM BECAUSE HE WOZ *SPAT ON*!!!!!" like the vitriol that came out of her mouth and the mental gymnastics she performed to justify the actions of her friends was ****ing exquisite and she put on a masterclass on how to totally succumb to your own delusions and paranoia, to the point where she lectured Big Brother on applying the rules capriciously. Like duh, she was a piece of **** once Spitgate happened but wow did she fully commit.

Saved Callum Knell

Eliminated Dale Howard

I saved Callum (again) because he was BB14's best housemate!

Dale was a wanker. He was pretty much invisible for the first couple of weeks but wasted no time in finding his showmance partner. And what a dull pair it was, jesus. He wasn't a horrible person but he just reminds me of that guy at school who is good at everything and is cocky little bastard about it, but gets away with it because he's 'fit

'. He acted like SUCH a bellend during spitgate, where he kept on trying to be the hero along with Stuart, and telling Rex about fifty times to apologise to Jennifer. I'm struggling to come up with any good moments he had tbh, which tells you all you need to know about the guy. As if his cringeworthy VT hadn't already made you think he was a bit of a fool lol. He was evicted in week 9 (65 days!!!!!! :/) against his friend Stuart after begging to be put up for weeks. He probably thought he would survive but he seemed happy when Davina said his name so idk.
