No they are definitely trained just not with the army although you do sometimes get some people who dropped out the army for some reason a lot of them don't have military experience

Indeed; I think hacker groups targetting Russia should be another big indicator of what people there really think. A huge chunk of the biggest members of these hacker groups are Russian and will be operating from within Russia. Likely why they were able to hack the Russian government and media stuff so quickly - these guys learned and practiced their skills on Russian servers... it's their own back yard.

I feel awful for the normal citizens of Russia who are completely against the action being taken. Even the soldiers, half of them are practically kids (18 - 21 year olds) and have no idea what's going on. But then I guess you could say that for most armed conflicts.
