It has to be somebody with temperance and an ability to view things from both sides, with no real ties to any one group. My vote goes to somebody like BBEye but unfortunately they're not on enough really.

Usually anyone asking to be a moderator should be disqualified from doing so.

To be a moderator is not a right it is an honour and a privilige and a sacred trust.

On the other science based forum where I am a moderator, I was approached by a moderator to consider if I wanted to be a moderator and then invited by one of the co-founders of the forum to be a moderator, which I considered a great honour.

If I was made an Admin I wouldn't waste time banning people.
I know I haven't a snowballs chance in hell of becoming one though.
I would change ILoveDC and Harrys usernames, add a few smileys, find a few themes if I could.
