I wish the twist had been £25,000, would make more logical sense, since they would have a gamble
refuse the 25k, at the chance of 75k?
but with the 50k, its pointless not taking it, since even if you win the final you will only earn the same

Said to my mate last night, this isn't even a task. It's a desperate act of favouritism.
Last year, they did everything they could to make sure Jay came out of the series smelling of roses. The heavy editing in his favour, the crypt twist so he didn't get evicted, and the prize fund being split. All of it failed, and Aaron royally screwed the system up and won.
This year, they're trying to make sure it doesn't happen again. In my opinion, they've obviously hand picked Conor as their favourite/golden boy. They've now realised that no matter what they do, Conor isn't liked enough to win, so they've came up with this task to make sure that even if Conor doesn't win, he still comes out with a chunk of change.
Expect Conor to win tonight and leave with that 50k.

I'm just catching up with BB and just when I thought BB couldn't ******* this programme up any worse than they have done...low and behold now I'm hearing they are going to give 50% of the prize money to a HM whilst the show is still in progress with 9 HM still in contention.

Really....!!!!! so I have a question has anyone on the BB production team ever actually watched Big Brother, seriously !!! for this is NOT a twist, this is NOT a clever or cunning ploy.

This is the latest in a long line of stupid, ill-conceived, badly thought out ideas that have ruined this series and now risk complete meltdown of whats left of the show.

This makes a complete mockery of Big Brother, Big Brother contestants have to WIN THE SHOW TO WIN THE PRIZE MONEY not get offered large slices of the prize fund for completing/winning a task against 1 other HM. Sheer lunacy......

What's the incentive to apply for this show if not to win the "life changing" prize (100K)

Too angry to write any more................

They would be mad not to take the money because Celebrity BB starts 2 days after the final of BB so no chance of filling newspapers now. No real money to be made after the show.
Real manipulation though.

Yes but it was the choice of housemates to go in the white room. To be fair it should have been the housemates who had polled the least noms over the series. Not Connor with his pile of noms.
