From what I remember there's never been a major blow-up after the Razzies given how friendly the forum is now I don't think it'll be too bad.

It is not the votes that are a problem, it is the comments that people make to go alongside the votes, these are also posted and as others have stated in here, some forum members use this event as an amnesty from having to adhere to forum results and are very insulting. Kate, re-read this thread. If you want to talk about Agendas, Kizzy, you, and now Cherie have all tried to prod away at me and question me in this thread, so I'll leave that there for people to have a think about which group really is more likely to try and settle scores.

I'm sure if you kick up enough of a fuss, then the mods will step in and cancel it anyway, so you'd have got your way regardless. I extended the hand to you to try and discuss things when things were at their worst. You refused, and I'm not the one holding on to a grudge, as your posts in here clearly emphasise to anyone else reading the thread.

Maybe it would be a good idea if you opted out? I mean, after the fuss you've kicked up in here, who would want you following them around the forum indefinitely, acting as though you've been personally affronted. Sometimes adults need to act like adults. Move on and grow up.

Jokes are fine, insults are not. ..but I'm as sure to get votes as anyone Kate..we all are..and if I do then either I'll learn something from it or shrug it off....we all have people who like us and people who don't and they'll see different things in us....it's the same in ML though as well..it's no different...

....and 'pins are stuck' in forum members anyway, whether we have the Razzies or not...it seems like a good channel and a way of balancing...most things in life don't work well without that balance anyway...

...or not. I actually think I've only voted in the Razzies once, maybe twice. I'll be shocked if I've voted more than that, and usually I just sit back and watch, it's an evening's entertainment. Nothing to do with 'sharpened knives', it's the internet...words on a screen...it's just a bit of fun and aside from the quiz, this place is dead at the moment, it needs livening up.

I've always viewed the Razzies as more of a joke and a laugh and voted for people I actually like for some of the awards, people I didn't like would just be left for the Controversy thing.

But yes it is probably one of the best things about the forum so it should be brought back
