Hate to say it but i felt uncomfortable watching Hazel being on the receiving end of yet another task.

I wont complain to Ofcom due to the fact im not a loser and i do actually want to keep the show on the air but i will air my disapproval on the forums which BB producers (especially DS) do read.

Firstly , I don't think Hazel was bullied. However, I don't agree that complaining to Ofcom would make anyone a loser. Ofcom exists specifically to look at complaints about broadcast material. They only uphold genuine complaints. Therefore they are capable of steering BB away from over-stepping the mark and making itself unpalatable to viewers. I think it's probably the biggest myth amongst TIBB posters: the idea that complaints will end the show, the opposite is more likely to be true.

When you consider that both BB and BotS get enough complaints every week to make the OFCOM summary report (only shows with 10 or more complaints on a given airing make the report), if complaining was going to cancel the show, it would've happened back when Jay was still there.

As for this, though, Hazel and Gina each give as good as they get, and in comparison to what Daley did to her, no, I don't think Gina has committed grievous harm against her. Contrary to the real world, where someone has to die before bullying behavior is taken seriously, in that house, all she has to do is go to BB to complain and the reaction is instant.

If Hazel resorted to crying and tearful diary room chats, BB would probably be FORCED to step in.
As it is, Hazel has chosen to be strong, which unfortunately means BB can let the bullying continue.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hazel was HIDING tears when she put that blanket over her face!
Being told that she only had porridge to sate her hunger, while the HM who'd been bullying her and electrocuting her all day would be getting a delicious meal, would definitely make most people cry.
And then she had to endure more taunts from Gina ("Stay the ******* away!" while she was trying to sleep and put the whole horrible day behind her!

Wasn't it enough for Gina that she'd been given power to bully Hazel in the task?
That she'd been rewarded with a phone call from her boyfriend AND real food?!
She still has to taunt Hazel while she's trying to sleep after a day of slaving away, having no real food??
The word "disgusting" doesn't even BEGIN to describe such bullying!

Talk about a word that's quickly losing it's meaning(if not already). Had Hazel just done as told it wouldn't have gone that far and I think you're for getting the fact that Hazel's a Bitch she's just not a likable one. I don't feel sorry for her one bit. Because if there was someone she didn't like and she could turn the house against them she would. You'd be kidding yourself if you think she wouldn't.

^The only word that lost its true meaning was the word "racism", when Gina used it in week 1.
In fact, looking back I realise that we got a glimpse of Gina's bullying nature right there.

LmfaoXD case and point. I swear people can't have conflict with someone these days without that word being brought up. Hell even Gina said she thought she(herself) was being bullied. That word continues to lose value.

Its just a task. Shock pads have been used many times before.
I see no "bullying" of Hazel.

I don't mean I found it 'annoying' or 'unfair'. I mean I actually found upsetting.

Although the bullying is CHANNELED through Gina, it's still the producers who are orchestrating it.

Lol Sophie just had one last week, the twins had a couple when it first started, Charlie as well, Dexter obviously has had a few, Callum had it when his storyline was going, Hazel had hers in the house..Ect but if your looking for a list I'm sure someone will point you to a official list, but those just fresh in my head. The fact that you don't remember them or watched them should tell why they don't air them in those 40mins, but this is a whole other topic. You can make a thread about.

That is a perfect summing up of them both as to this task, definitely.

I have watched it again this morning with someone who hasn't been watching BB much at all this series and who has no favourite whatsoever.
She thought Gina and Charlie,(also Sophie too), were likely 3 of the really nastiest people in there and she said she would have thrown something at Gina and Charlie, most likely the buzzer and/or covered them in the honey they were mucking on with.

I don't mean "Enjoy a big nosh up in the diary room" ones.
Everyone get's those.

I mean the special ones - the ones that Gina seems to always get.

You say "Had they'd shined in the task given to them it would have been on HL".
But it would be impossible not to feature the Queen Bee one in the HL such was the size and they were doing it all day.

Anyway, no point arguing the toss, think I've made my point.

So the point you're trying to make is that you're biased against Gina and don't want acknowledge that when people did have task they weren't interesting so they didn't get aired on HL or when they were it was cut short because again their task was a bust. Since Gina's is actually entertaining and gets aired it's biased because they show her so much. Lol then your point was proven. Love that logic

Just stuck up for her in the other thread !

But since you won't tell me what these mega special privilege tasks were that never got aired, I can't really debate them.

So you're right, I can only go off what I see on the HL.

Official bull**** thread more like...
If Hazel felt like she was bullied, she would have left the house. But she is still there, isn't she?

I'll rewatch some of the earlier LF's and message you.

I do like the fact that when people thought she lost her feisty side they called her boring and now that it's back she's a vile bitch.hahaha well at least people are talking about her again:-) Her=Gina

I watch BB with a group of 4 other friends. This time last week we all were endeared towards Gina, buying in to her fish out of water persona but this week all of us have been turned off by her vile, bullying behavior.
I have to say, I'm really disappointed in C5 this year, and that's something I never thought I'd say. C5, the GBP and fellow housemates have been bullying, belittling, singling out and just being plain terrible for WEEKS now to the unflappable Hazel, to the point where I wonder what they will even talk about when she's out of the house.
I've always defended BB as the one reality show that's actually real but it's seemingly devolving in to a puppet show for the producers and not allowing it to be what it once was, which is a social experiment rather than a rigged/contrived "game".
I still find the UK version far superior to my countries version as I feel you get to actually know or care about the housemates in the UK version as they aren't allowed to talk about the game and spend the entire series plotting and backstabbing but I think the UK version would do well in taking a page out of the US version in the sense that they don't tamper with the formula they use to create the show. With the US version you know whats what and whats going to go down as they do not deviate from what they tell you is going to happen, whereas this Secrets and Lies rubbish is literally flying by the seat of their pants and seemingly making up the game as it progresses and altering rules as they see fit to seek out their own agenda to single out and highlight who C5 producers want to win.

The irony here is that if Gina had picked Dexter instead of Hazel all those screaming bullying would simply be laughing at Dexter getting zapped.

Yes I agree and the even bigger irony is that they ALL got zapped each time not just Hazel. I think people are getting confused because they picked Hazel to do some extra work, though I didn't really see that enforced from what I could see they all as a team did the extra work.
