This is the ignore add on here that James posted about, just in case anyone wants to use it.

How about instead of a smileys option, there's a gifs option and you can choose from a list of gifs to reply to someone's post

Oh how beautiful, it does work. You can still see threads the member made but you see no trace of them in the thread, even the ones they made.

Ignore makes no sense if you quote them and respond directly to them though does it?
I thought being on a forum and interaction with others with opposing or conflicting views was a acceptable norm I don't find anyone on here that grating. I'd like bigger avatars.
