I was just thinking that I would like to watch some bargain basement propaganda and, low and behold, there was some here just waiting for me! What are the chances...

I can see why some tire of celebrity endorsements of political campaigns (or the exact opposite, as in this case) but they appear to have been around for as long as I've been born. Bush, Romney and McCain certainly were - I'd imagine it's been going since the 50s.

For all of his whipping up of anti-establishment support, I can't understand what the alternative is that Trump brings to the table. Is he impervious to corporate backhanding and media luvvies? Was he not himself a host of Saturday Night Live last year? Has he not done a roast? It doesn't quite have the same effect: trashing the media for rigging it against you and yet feeding off of it.

deniro is an uber legend, the greatest movie actor of all time , a man I love. BUT on this rare occasion I dont agree with him or the way he delivered his message. He seems to be pandering to the liberal politically correct hollywood elite, which surprises me as hes spent a lifetime playing incredible, brave and unique roles of mavericks and underdogs.

Hmmm Brave, incredible or underdog are not any words I would use to describe Donald Trump.

From the moment he was born he's been fed with a silver spoon

Can someone please tell me one or two policy ideas of Donald Trump to warrant any support? Not trying to troll just trying to understand the other side.

Rebuilding the industries
increasing tariffs on chinese steel
raising taxes on those taking american jobs abroad
reducing government red tape on small businesses
spending more on war veterans
protecting the borders against criminal illegal immigrants entering
Tax breaks for american businesses who remain in the usa and reduce their regulation to help them grow home grown jobs
to stop supplying weapons to so called rebels we dont even know across the middle east when the weapons often end up in the hands of ISIS

If this is a comprehensive list I'm scared
Especially considering Trump is lowering the taxes of big corporations by over half- which will be the death of small businesses.

On the immigration policy you can't say his is superior --> Calling Syrian refugees "unknown people" when we know what exactly they are searching for which is safety

Also the home grown jobs being all industrial assembly line work is not going to do much for the lower-middle class Americans

Increasing tariffs on chinese steel

His idea being that this will revive American steel. In reality it'll just make most large projects involving steel unaffordable. e.g. the above factories.

Raising taxes on those taking american jobs abroad

Again, sounds like a positive but he's offered nothing on how this would actually be implemented or how this would actually work. He also assumes blindly that it will result in more "American jobs for Americans" - rather than the entire companies simply relocating.

reducing government red tape on small businesses
This is designed to benefit people who are already multi-millionaires. "Small" does not mean your local take-away owner. At the same time it also essentially means reduced regulation / more shady and underhanded business tactics making things worse for the average worker.

spending more on war veterans
This is a simple buzz-policy. Most people have a war vet in their family or at least know one. A policy purely designed for public opinion. Great if he actually does it, but essentially it's little more than a relatively inexpensive popularity boost.

protecting the borders against criminal illegal immigrants entering
Will cost a fortune and have little to zero practical effect. He won't stop illegal immigration or even reduce it by more than a few %. Another vanity project for people to dribble over.

Tax breaks for american businesses who remain in the usa and reduce their regulation to help them grow home grown jobs.

See above. This will benefit people who are already millionaires, whilst damaging working conditions for employees.

to stop supplying weapons to so called rebels we dont even know across the middle east when the weapons often end up in the hands of ISIS

Again, whilst this would be great (if every country would it it), in reality it's just "buzz politics" and will have little to zero practical effect. The terrorists will still be armed, the policy will change absolutely nothing, other than being able to say "Well it's not us arming them". Of course it's the right thing to do but it isn't going to "improve America" or the world in any practical way, only morally.

Can you explain how Trump is going to achieve this? All the proposals I've read have him lowering taxes on the wealthiest and increasing taxes on the middle class ie more Reagan/Bush trickle down economics that led to the recession of the 80's and the global financial crisis of 2007. In other words a tax plan that we have all seen fail at least twice.

I think you're overlooking the fact that the global recession in 2007 was caused by UK benefits claimants.
