I have never seen anyone smoke a joint then go looking for a fight. On the contrary. I smoke it, I find it relaxing. I know plenty of high-functioning professionals who've smoked it for years with no adverse effects. I'd like to see it legalised, regulated and taxed. Maybe then there wouldn't be so many horror stories and tales about how people felt sick, felt dizzy etc. etc.

Me and my son were going to have a trip to Amsterdam after my daughter and her partner went they had a slice of cake with it in and she said it was so funny, he got paranoid when he saw police officer so they made a 15 mile detour back to the hotel so they weren't followed and spent the rest of the evening eating pringles watching eastenders

Probably true, I had smoked it probably 100+ times before and had never even felt vaguely ill, so I suppose I have to assume that there was something else in the mix the time that it messed me up.

I guess it's the same with all kinds of drugs. Did you see the people at Glastonbury checking the purity of people's drugs for free? They found all kinds of crap in there.

If you drink with it it will mess you up, friends at school called it 'throwing a whitey'. I don't get why being a professional would make it less likely if smoked for years to have any adverse affects either :/

She didn't say that tbf. She said she knows people who function well in their day to day lives and they have tough jobs. She didn't say a Professional is less likely to suffer adverse effects

![]() I have fund weed makes you concentrate more. I used to actually do sudokos and stuff while wrecked. I can see how it could actually help some people do their jobs tbh. Obviously not being totally out of it but a bit could definitely help. The effect of a joint or so on people with stuff like Parkinsons is absolutely amazing too. There are youtube videos showing this. I genuinely think the only reason dope isn't legalized is because it would **** pharmaceutical companies and remove some of their profit as dope can effectively treat pain and other conditions. |

Regardless of the definition, how can the job someone does reduce their predisposition to adverse effects?

Kizzy... the point was that she knows people with complicated jobs who smoke weed (evenings and weekends I assume, not in the office ), and smoking weed doesn't affect their ability to do their job during the day, thus anecdotally demonstrating that smoking weed doesn't necessarily damage people psychologically or reduce their brain function. It has nothing to do with the job itself somehow reducing the side effects of the drug . No one said that, anywhere. I assume it was the example used because it's the example she knows of people who need to "use their brains a lot". Likewise, I could use the example of having known a lot of students who smoked all through University and still came out with good / 1st class degrees.

I said I had tried weed, then I read on here that weed is different from Hash.
So I haven't actually tried weed only hash. Unless I have eaten one of my sisters space cakes at some point and not realised

Whatever you do, you are at the same risks as anyone else. That is all I am saying, if you are a professional who has smoked it for years then you are lucky is all. Knowing a couple of people who you perceive not to have any effects proves nothing.
