I adored Diana for her warm and caring nature - and she was also fun loving and had a wicked sense of humour, but she was also troubled from an early age by her mother walking out on the family when she was about 6 yrs old. She was witness to her parents’ acrimonious divorce, and she and her siblings were the subjects of a bitter custody battle. Diana was said to be a very needy child.

She and Charles were pushed into the marriage by the grandmothers, and the tragedy of it all was that it was never going to work whether there was a Camilla or not- she was a young 19, he was an 'old' and serious 30 and they had no interests in common whatsoever. But some time after the divorce, they both said they would always love each other in their own way.

Yes, I loved Diana but my goodness she was no saint. She had affairs with married men and broke up the marriage of one of them (Will Carling). She put too much of a burden on young William by confiding her adult problems to him and wanting his comfort (she totally protected Harry from it all though, and expected William to do the same). She admitted to this and was ashamed of it.
It is said she found true love with the heart surgeon Dr. Hasnot Khan, but after a 2 year romance, it ended. There are many theories as to why, but Khan has never revealed the reasons. Like a true gentleman, he won’t talk about their relationship.
We will always love Diana and remember the many good things about her because without her flaws, she wouldn't have been the mesmerising and interesting Diana we adored.

If you do your research, you'll find that is simply not true. Diana had loads of help and support, and it was Harry who admitted he was too ashamed to ask for help for Meghan, when he and William were the patrons of mental health charities and had received help themselves. The Queen and Camilla in particular were very supportive of Meghan, who is a known liar and *hit stirrer.
