The law wasn't changed, it was clarified.

That said idc if David Tennant wants someone to shut up. Least it's not rape and death threats like women usually get when speaking on this issue.

Judges at the Supreme Court in London were asked to rule on what that law
means by "sex" - whether it means biological sex, or legal, "certificated" sex as
defined by the 2004 Gender Recognition Act.
