But that place has the Gaza Public, living in. Israel can start a Bigger War making all this worse. Hamas have the 200 or so hostages - in their tunnels that's why this has gone wrong |

You're accusing Israel of having the objective of committing war crimes? Watch out, LT will pretend to be disgusted by your comments in a minute.

At this point anyone who can't see what's happening is either completely biased/blinkered, or doesn't know their Middle East politics/recent history. Last edited by user104658; 28-10-2023 at 12:23 PM. |

Remembering Kerry

Israel needs to just be sure it has all right on this.
They have to take out Hamas. However they need to hold the other alliance of Nations supporting them, by doing what Hamas never do. That's act more justly.as Israel has tried it's best to do despite strong provocation against them. |

I think the point is that the stage has been set for a massive increase in refugees fleeing war. We are kidding ourselves if we think we wont be affected by it

Well no one wants them. Apart from Scotland lol. They are known to cause trouble everywhere they go. Lebanon was ruined by them. Jordan has a war with them when they came to their country.

Hamas has stockpiled vital fuel, medicines and food while ordinary Gazans are running short on essentials, reports say.
According to both Arab and Western officials, Hamas has been stockpiling supplies for years, which they have stored in tunnels they prepared for the possibility of a protracted war. The terrorist group spent two decades building the labyrinthine network of underground tunnels, which make a central part of its defences. The tunnel network is said to have entrances hidden beneath schools, mosques and houses and are estimated to be 300 miles long with lighting, electricity and rail tracks for transport. A senior Lebanese official said Hamas could fight for between three and four months without the need to resupply, the New York Times reported. When hostage Yocheved Lifshitz was released by Hamas earlier this week, the 85-year-old told of how her captors gave her food and personal hygiene supplies. They seemed ready for this, they prepared for a long time, they had everything that men and women needed, including shampoo,” Ms Lifshitz said. “We ate the same food they did pitas with cream cheese, melted cheese, cucumbers. That was a meal for an entire day,” she added. Earlier this week the Israeli Defence Forces published aerial photographs of fuel tanks in a location near the Rafah border in the south of the Gaza strip. The IDF Arabic spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said: “This is what over half a million litres of diesel looks like, while Hamas keeps claiming it does not have enough fuel to support hospitals and bakeries.” The IDF’s post said: “Hamas-Isis steals this fuel from civilians and transfers it to its tunnels, rocket launchers and leaders. This is what Hamas’s list of priorities looks like.” Fuel shortages In response to the constant bombardment of Gaza, the UN humanitarian coordinator for the Palestinian territories, Lynne Hastings, said that “hospitals & humanitarian operations can’t continue without communications”. Between the bombardments and the fuel shortages, 12 of Gaza’s 35 hospitals have been forced to close. The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, said it has had to “significantly reduce its operations”. More than than 1.4 million people inside Gaza have been displaced, according to the UN, while supplies of food, water and power to the crowded territory have been almost completely cut off. Israel has blocked all deliveries of fuel, saying it would be exploited by Hamas to manufacture weapons and explosives. The Palestinians can't catch a break, their own government does not care about them yet Israel is expected to?
