I just felt season 1 came to a bit of an abrupt end.

Season 3 is more... I don't know how to describe it really... Catty? But you should watch it for Kathy Bates alone, she plays a fantastic part

TNG was really clever. I kind of liked how they fitted in this bright, colourful and almost happy moment right in the middle of a very dark season. Also the fact the song fitted in with Jude kind of being confused and her brain living in this opposite world was interesting.

It's a shame in Coven and Asylum the writers thought oh people loved that in Asylum, lets have songs in every other episode. In both the cases of Coven and Freakshow it seems like the songs were forced in there. Witches = Stevi Nicks = Music!! Freakshow = Performers = Music!!

I kinda hope Hotel has a more Asylum/Murder House vibe, something dark and twisted. I'm worried those days are long gone, the show is more mainstream now and they don't seem to want to alter the tone of the show too much in fear of losing viewers. If Hotel is on the same level of Freakshow and Coven I doubt I'll be able to stick by the show beyond that.

I think Kathy Bates and Evan Peters are definitely back. The exec producer who attended Paleyfest said, in reply to a question about Peters' character being involved in *another* love triangle, "we'll think of something."
