Hands off my Brick!
|
Those 2 were the only really good ones imo - not that I watched all of them, I watched the 2 after -Coven and Freak Show but they were getting worse and worse, i attempted to watch Hotel but I couldn't even make it through Ep 1

…those were the two that I liked most also…I watched quite a bit of the Freak Show and some of Coven but it was difficult to stream a reasonable copy and I never went back to them….I found some of the storylines beginning to feel a bit ‘depraved’, which I couldn’t gel with….

Fallout TV series on Prime. There are admittedly a LOT of "easter eggs" from the games but you don't need prior knowledge of the games to enjoy it - it's also just a well-made and unique take on the post-nuclear apocalypse. Good characters, great acting, and lots of fun.
The "prologue" scene (when the bombs actually drop) is also actually quite genuinely chilling, especially with all the WW3 drama going on .

It imo felt like watching a proper TV Show from back in the golden age of TV, rather than this Movie structure over 8 episodes, and most of the content that's actually interesting being saved for the last two to three episodes of the Season. I think I enjoyed every episode of Fallout, which I don't think I have been able to say that about 95% of modern American Shows.

I do remember feeling that it had a weaker start than the first two Seasons though, so I can see where you're coming from.

very enjoyable police crime drama John Carroll Lynch especially what a fab role from him (Twisty the Clown actor in AHS Freak Show for those who might not know him) Kylie Bunbury is one sexy private investigator tbh (loved her on Under the Dome too) Brian Geraghty Spoiler: also the sheriff Tubb actor Spoiler: didn't know i would like this series but i do, it has a ''modern western vibe but not too much, also a bit of that same feel as you have with Criminal Minds or CSI at least i do have that vibe as well with this''

…I’ll just put this trailer here for an up and coming Netflix series which starts very soon on 9 May…
Bodkin is a darkly comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in an idyllic, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. |
