I know it's scary Ammi and like all divorces there are going to be some bumpy moments but it really will be OK. There are many countries in the world who get along fine without being part of the EU. We will too. I understand how you feel because last night before the first result was in they were already talking a remain win and I felt so crushed and disappointed. I get that is pretty much how those who wanted to remain feel today. But we can do this!

...I guess that I'm thinking more of the children of divorces, Jaxie and the damage to them...but I want so much to be wrong in my concerns...one thing for sure though, the divorce can only work if both parents only have those children's interests at heart before their own and their own feelings...so whatever our feelings today and whatever our political opinions etc...we are one now/all of us.. because if we are not, then I really do feel a very bleak future....

I hope the pound does settle (what with the type of businessI work in)

But yeah we left it to a vote and this is what the majority has decided, so I don't have much else to say really... Democracy and all that

(I was in though)

It's only been what 2 hours as well and we've screwed over by them. Wonder what else they lied about during this campaign to manipulate the country

Instead of blaming the oldies who actually bother to vote maybe the blame should be placed on the apathetic young people? Nothing wrong with exercising a democratic right

3 quarters of young people wanted to remain so no the majority did not agree

And (can't speak for everyone obviously) but we do respect our elders, we just wish they would respect us and be like "hmm those young people want to remain, the people who will be growing up in this country and getting jobs and living an adult life maybe I should just support them" seeing as either way it wouldn't effect elder people too much as they are probably not working, less likely to buy another house etc

I feel you are right and the UK will fracture now, but the majority voted for Little England so be it! Let's see how it all pans out
