Was told it was just a cheek swab now. Which made me think the whinging about schoolkids getting it twice a week was ott. If its still that one, I have more sympathy.

Thankfully we get the choice of throat and one nostril OR both nostrils .

We also do the swabbing ourselves .. again that’s better as it’s uncomfortable when you do it so gawd knows how it must feel if someone else shoves the swab up your nostrils !!

As generally they will mutate to be more spreadable, but less dangerous.

Luckily, it seems to be not 'that bad' in terms of 'worse' (finding it hard to word that)

Brazil/SA not covered by vaccine is VERY BAD NEWS. As it basically means, vaccines are pointless? As, new mutations will just keep coming which will get round any vaccine.

As a whole, Prof Whitty says the death rate
is broadly flat, but says it is definitely not
going down across the board.
