Now that the Weyland plot has become all about Willmott-Brown I'm hoping they phase Max out.
Jake Wood looks as bored as we are watching him. |

I stopped watching because I can’t stand Max anymore and I’m SICK of soaps having evil characters do things and get away with it for years on end (Corrie is awful with this with Phelan).

Max just telling people things and everyone believing it.
Ian thinking there's nothing weird about Max Branning being his best mate and always hovering around Jane at the hospital. They were hardly even friends before the Lucy plot, so why he's not questioning him being around now is a complete farce. Even if they believed Max had forgiven them, there's no way they wouldn't be suspicious about him trying to be their best pal. Jane not telling the nurses to not allow Max in was stupid, as was the police allowing him to sit there whilst they were questioning Jane. Last edited by Marsh.; 17-10-2017 at 08:18 PM. |

They really have sent Max down the completely wrong route since he returned. It just isn't believable that he'd go through this much effort just because he spent a year (give or take) in prison. It would've been more believable had he forgiven them, to be honest.

I don't blame him for being completely pissed off and disgusted but he's lost all reasoning and any higher ground as he's now worse than Jane.
Jane never made any attempts on anyone's life. Max is now a badly written, moral-free, unfeeling caricature. |

I understand he wants revenge which could entail a life of torment
He’s never been a murderer, he’s always been relatively level-headed so the complete change of character makes no sense and is making him completely unlikable |

They also completely dropped the self harm angle from Christmas.
