OMG Barcelona FOR once have said they havent agreed terms with Fabregas

Barcelona Deny Any Agreement To Sign Arsenal Skipper Cesc Fabregas
Catalans refute claims that midfielder is 'coming home' in summer...

Barcelona have today refuted reports in Spain that they have concluded a deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the summer.

A Spanish radio station had claimed that a deal was in place for the Catalan playmaker to return to his homeland in the summer.

However, Barcelona insist that no such negotations have taken place and that they are keen not to damage their excellent working relationship with the Gunners.

"Given the exceptional repercussions created by the stories that have appeared in different media with respect to an agreement with Arsenal FC player Cesc Fŕbregas, FCB flatly denies that there have been any negotiations or agreements with the player," a statement on Barca's official website reads.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that Eduardo would miss Arsenal’s Premier League game against Liverpool on tonight.

“Eduardo will not be back for Liverpool, but he should be available for Porto.”

With Nicklas Bendtner still struggling to return to full-fitness, Arsenal may once again turn to the diminutive Andrey Arshavin to lead the line in attack.

it'd get torn down unless they found something to do with it

the players would get redundancy money, but the staff would get less money which is unfair cause the staff don't earn half as much as the players, and the players could probably get by without it really

I don't think itll happen though they ll get out of it, either by a new owner or going through administration

He said “I believe he talks to many clubs, that he is entitled to do. He is free to sign a pre-contract. He is free to sign where he wants but I cannot interfere in that. We are talking to nobody. We are focusing on tomorrow’s game.”

Chamakh has previously declared that Arsenal are his preferred team despite being linked with a host of other clubs including Liverpool.

Arsenal, the English soccer club, has partnered with Sony Professional to launch Arsenal TV Matchday+.

The application, which fans can download to their Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) or PSP Go, will enable them to access enhanced content services wirelessly from their seat at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal's home ground.

This service will provide Arsenal fans with access to a range of viewing options, including live action, video and slow-motion replays from selected camera angles, team sheets, player profiles, the Premier League table, match stats and interactive options, such as voting for the man of the match.

"Since moving to Emirates Stadium we have remained focused on exploring ways to improve our fans' matchday experiences," said Tom Fox, chief commercial officer at Arsenal FC. "Through our ongoing partnership with Sony we have continued to introduce cutting-edge technologies to ensure that Emirates Stadium remains one of the world's leading sports venues."

The launch of the Arsenal TV Matchday+ application follows Sony's original installation of high-definition screens throughout the Emirates, alongside the infrastructure required for the club to broadcast its own in-stadium channel, Arsenal TV, across the network of in-stadium screens.

Arsenal fans will be able to experience the first live game to be broadcast using the Arsenal TV Matchday+ application when it launches later this month. For a one-off Ł10 fee fans will have access to view the rest of this season's home Premier League games. Access to games being played in the 2010/2011 season will go on sale at the end of this season.

Chamakh to pen Ł50,000-a-week Arsenal deal tomorrow

Arsenal have struck a deal with Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, it has been revealed.

The Mirror says Bordeaux striker Chamakh, 25, has agreed a pre-contract with the Gunners after Arsenal offered him a five year deal worth Ł50,000-a-week. The striker has told friends he will sign the deal on Friday.

Chamakh is set to come in next season after turning down more money to join Liverpool because he wanted to work with Arsene Wenger who has been trying to sign the Moroccan since last summer.

It will be a huge boost for Arsenal to land Chamakh after their injury problems with forwards and the deal will also help appease the club's shareholders and fans after a quiet January transfer window.

Big news! Woulda liked gignac or gourcuff though.

and Manchester Utd fans who couldt afford to go watch them everyweek made an FC United of Manchester who are near the conference now

The Mirror says Gallas, 32, is a free agent this summer and has made it clear in negotiations that he wants a two-year contract to stay.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted that he may be ready to bend club rules and make Gallas an exception to his policy of never giving 30-somethings more than an extra 12 months.

But last night it emerged that Wenger has decided against that and Gallas has only been offered one year which may tempt him to leave on a Bosman-style free transfer this summer.

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood said: 'Arsene has had a policy with players who are aged over 30 to offer them one-year extensions.

"He has not asked us to make an exception for Gallas. If he did I am sure the board would agree to it.

"It is not out of the question, but it is certainly not on the table at the moment."

Gallas wasnt fit enough against united.. when going up for corners and free kicks he wasnt able to come back at the same speed clichy and vermaelen were, which is why rooney got in so well..

We need to buy Neven Subotic.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will face a battle with PSV to sign Ivorian striker Lacina Traore.

Heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, it appears that Arsenal now have competition in the race to sign the teenage striker.

Reports in Holland state that Eindhoven made a last-gasp bid at the end of the January transfer window to try and lure Traore to the Philips Stadium, but they fell short and ran out of time.

Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad report that Fred Rutten attempted to take advantage as Arsene Wenger pondered a move, but the Dutch giants could not agree terms with FC Cluj and may have missed out on the 19-year-old.

Frenchman Wenger decided against a move for the striker after perceived problems with securing a work permit. Footballers outside the EU should technically play 75% of international fixtures over the previous two years to secure a move to the UK, a stumbling block that would be nearly impossible to overcome on appeal.

That said, Wenger has been tracking Traore for some time. Linked with a handful of striikers, it appears Traore is one of his top targets and the Gunners boss could well push for a move in the summer.

Arsenal face Liverpool at The Emirates this evening, but it appears Arsenal have already got one over the Reds after reports on Wednesday claimed they had beaten Liverpool to the signing of long-term target Marouane Chamakh.

The striker will join Arsenal in the summer on a reported Ł50,000-a-week, nice work if you can get it.

But Liverpool could also be doing some business in the summer after Serbian midfielder Milan Jovanovic agreed to move to Anfield despite interest from Birmingham and Manchester City.

Meanwhile at Chelsea it appears as though Roman Abramovich is about to dip into those deep pockets again as the Blues target Ł30m-rated Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

Dani Alves.. i hate him, but he is nothing short of amazing, fast strong aggresive great ability, has a beast shot to, love him as a player, hate his personality.

Substitute Ben Marshall tapped in a late leveller to earn a deserved 1-1 draw for visiting Carlisle and dent Huddersfield's play-off charge.
