The Carl/Mercedes/Riley crap is letting the show down. Give Mercedes something new for goodness sake. They'll probably do what they did with Ricky Whittle soon, have her use her new found skills from Dancing on Ice in the show lol. Mercedes doing bolero.

I really hope that Anita's mum returns though, her voice used to irritate me but she's hilarious. She should get pally (or make enemies) with Mitzeee.

I agree, hoping that the new producer quickly concludes the R/C/M plot and gives Jennifer Metcalfe a storyline other than Mercedes sleeping around or having affairs as she is a talented actress and IMO it would be a shame if she left.

Just reading that Mandy is around for the forseeable feature. Interesting that Sarah Jayne Dunn said that predictably something is going to go wrong for Mandy and she'll have a huge meltdown over her cruel actions but as an actress getting the chance to play bad for a while must be great for her.

Id like her to get involved in something else too. She 'got over' Mal too quickly for how much she loved him.

I blame the writers after all they write these storylines and the actors can only act what is on the script even if they disagree with some of it or would like it to be different.

Well these last few years HO have been terrible with dealing with death. They can't seem to get the aftermath part right at all. Anyone who was close to Steph, Mal, India. Have dealt with it quite unrealistically, either with their actions or poor acting. (Only India's lot with the poor acting)

I reckon Steph's was done alright with Frankie, Jack and Tom but yeah the aftermath after deaths has been terrible.

Yeah, but Sarah's aftermath was pretty much Mike and Zoe's exit storyline so they were bound to. But when they need to do aftermath with characters who need to grieve and move on, and then stay in the show, they get it all wrong.

But can someone explain why Tony turned the restaurant into a spa, and why he sells it to Cindy?

Tony doesn't sell it to her, he finds out that someone has made an offer for it and is unaware at that point it's Cindy.

Funny how after that fire spread the village was back to normal after a couple of weeks, if this was RL there would still be rubble round and it would take ages to do it all up again but as it's a soap they need new sets and get on with it of course.

Well they messed the whole thing up with the Dad as well. Him randomly coming and going then deciding to turn his back in the end, plus the whole half brother thing. They might've had a chance if they didn't mess Ambers story up and she wasn't so bad at acting. The whole thing didn't make much sense in the end. And recasting two of them wouldn't be too bad, but they were on too long and don't think people would've liked it.
