Im watching this on ITV now, can someone tell me what that exit poll means?

Why is it called 'Exit' ?

Also is it an official poll or just rough guesses of who will win?

As I said to Harry in a previous post:

Its wide scale poll conducted by Sky News, ITV News and the BBC which asks a random selection of people who they voted for after they exit the polling station.

It can be very accurate (1997) or very wrong (1992) with the nature of this election and that Lib Dem projection I would guess that it isn't very accurate. its too close to call.

The general opinion from what i'm seeing, hearing and reading is major doubts over this exit poll. Such doubts makes the rest of the night that much more interesting

In a way it's a good idea because some students just turn up to lessons just for the money and not interested in learning much, but also taking into consideration it would not be fair on those who are genuine and want to do well.

I dont get EMA even though I am eligible for it (dont ask, I didnt fill out a form accidently) and i still turn up to lessons. People at my college actually enjoy studying, even if they are just there for the EMa, they are still learning, its not like they are skipping.

I was going to sign up for EMa next year, I guess thats out of the equation if they win. My teachers even said that personally they think that the Conservatives winning would be worse for people Age 16-24. And Im in that age range, they dont care about education.

They need funds for schools and colleges too, Labour has been doing **** all for us, what a fail of a number of years they have been, thanks for the recession. grrrr....

What's the percentage of people who actually go out and vote though? Seems very low to me.

yeah, I was thinking that it was fairly low, and very surprising considering how important this election is.
