Torrents are fine as long as what you're downloading is quite well known and popular. If you're downloading some dodgy porn then you might be in trouble.

I only seed on sites where I have to maintain a ratio. On public ones? nope. The FBI or whatever can easily track you down.

theres a small rectangular box in at the bottom and in the middle of my screen, it's white with a red cross in it, when i open another programme the white cross is is on top of it

whats wrong

How do I get MSN back down by like the battery and everything again?

Like I can get onto it and that by using the start and it's right there but I want it back down there in the right corner -.-

Right click it in start. Then choose to pin it to task bar.

LOL@the explanation but I understand what you mean. I think you're saying you've lost MSN from your system tray. You'll probably have to re-install it unless you know the application name and how to use msconfig.

Try re-installing and tell me what happens.

I'm not sure what a system tray is. But what I mean is along the bottom like by the date and time and everything down there. And I'm too scared to re-install because I don't think I'll ever be able to get it back, and I've never heard of msconfig or anything like that.

But thanks anyway, I'll just leave it where it is though, at least I can still use it

Stacey has vista, you stopped it from opening when you connect to the internet so that is why it's not there..
