Even if she didn't mean it in a racist way, it was stupid and she should know better, she needs to learn that she can't get away with everything she says, there's many racial undertones to calling a black person a gorilla specially given the fact that she is a caucasian woman saying it, white men enslaved black men and called them apes 'cos they thought they were inferior to them, the word "gorilla" carries a stigma to it and I wanna believe she didn't know what was coming out of her mouth (mainly 'cos she's just a moron) but it still was an ignorant comment and needed to be addressed, can you imagine if this would have keep going on? the black british community would have been all up in arms, Big Brother did the right thing even though it's clear at this point that they aren't really running this show anymore.

it was not racist the problem is word association in the past and present real racists will call a black person any number of names that refer to members of the ape family

Yeah but i don't think Caroline said Gorilla in a racist manor, i just feel like people are over reacting and using this as a new reason to dislike Caroline by claiming she's racist.. What i was typing made more sense in my head.

Regardless of whether she meant it in a racist way or not, it is a well known racist insult, it was the first thing I thought of when she said it so she needed to be reprimanded for it

As I predicted nasty peice of work would end up humiliating herself and having to grovel and play the innocent little posh girl.But being spiteful is in her DNA-she wont be able to contain her bile and may yet say something that gets her the boot.

In these hyper sensitive times regarding racism to call a black man a gorrilla is at the very least idiotic and incredibly niave.You can quickly end up in court for much the same as this.
