I know this is a serious thread and all. But this made me giggle a bit. Why do you think chickens are relevant to this case?

The two pairs of pants thing is quite strange though, definitely agree with that.

Carry on being spoon fed by the media. If he is guilty them like I have said, great, they have their guy, however if he isn't the media have just ruined his life.

Mark Bridger, the man being held on suspicion of kidnapping April Jones, gave the five-year-old a ride in his Land Rover two days before she was abducted, it has been claimed.

April was a regular playmate of two of Mr Bridger's children who had been with her just hours before she was taken from near her home in Machynlleth, north Wales.
Mr Bridger, 46, had split from their mother Elaine, but often returned to the Brynygog estate in Machynlleth to visit them and was a friend of the Jones family.
Neighbour Amy Fenner, 21, said: "It's not the first time they have been in his vehicle. They had got into the van two days before the abduction."

the fact he's refusing to talk kind of seals the deal for me, why would he if there is nothing to hide. He does have very cold eyes in that photograph, they do say the eyes are the key to the soul.

It is terrible though when and if miscarriages of justice occur, or someone is falsely suspected of something so bad, like in the Chris Jeffries case, the press should have to meet tighter restrictions until cases like this are proven really. My gut instinct in this instance is he's as guilty as sin, but time will tell. I think we'll know more pretty soon.

Well he's Guilty to me as there is to much that links him to it so until he is released without charge then he's not Innocent and we can't always blame the Media they are just doing a job and some do it better then others obviously

I'll be honest I havent really been following this case much til now, as I dont tend to read the media witch hunts. But after reading up a bit on it, this struck me as a bit odd.

The fact the bloke isn't talking, seems quite suss to me. I am not saying I agree with the media reporting, they delve far too much into lives and cause a lot of unnecessary heartache in a lot of cases, and their bile can ruin many a life, as things printed are there no matter what and can't be undone once the damage is done. But can't help thinking that Nova could be right on this one, there are too many things don't add up that point this bloke's way. If little April is still alive, then him refusing to talk could prolong that fact that very soon she might not be. I so hope that she is alive, but can't help thinking that with each passing hour it is less likely now

[2] good post Suze, pretty much my way of thinking too, the Media are a disgrace with some of the things they do, they frequently go way to far and should be pulled into line. The fact he is refusing to talk seems very suspicious, and as I say my gut instinct says guilty, felt the same in the Ian Huntley case, he reeked of guilt.

The senior officer would not reveal what the 46-year-old had said to avoid jeopardising the search.

He told reporters: "He has been interviewed twice. Clearly, our focus in those interviews, as it is in this whole inquiry, is to find April. That is primarily what we've been discussing with him.

"What I don't want to do is compromise the investigation or any chance of finding April, so unfortunately I can't divulge exactly what he's told us so far."

Where have the accusations of him not talking come from? Nothing in this update suggests that at all. Only that he is still being interviewed.
