The second Sam took 100k and Charlie was wanting to take as high as possible the money had to go to someone that more than likely was also going to pick an extremely high figure. Dexter would of won the money and maxed winnings by going for 95k.

I dont even see why people would be pissed off if it was real and Dexter had got £88k

I'd have picked about the same and gone home happy not caring i had left £11k for te 'winner'
