If by stupid, you mean completely bigoted views, then no; because I actually have enough sense to appreciate diversity in terms of sexuality, race, etc.

I dread the day his or any other homophobe in this threads child comes out as gay. No child should have to live with parents like that

Oh God not this again. Welcome to on season!

Lucas hit the nail on the head quite early. The phrase 'don't feed the...' comes to mind.

lmao this is so true

Phrases like 'the PC brigade' and 'ugh everything's so PC these days' is basically translated as 'wah wah wah I can't express my outdated, offensive opinions freely without being questioned anymore '

Haven't you categorically stated many times that stuff outside the house should have no bearing on the game?

not jack thinking he is 100% right and calling members trolls to try and make his argument stronger?

I wouldn't call BBUK a 'game', but on topic - I actually don't think people should jump down Andrew's throats for comments he made four years ago.

Yes they're offensive, but do I think on day two we should be holding it against him as opposed to judging him on how he acts in the house? No

Not LT ignoring the fact someone else made the same point and choosing to focus on me instead. Thanks for the love hun x

And if you think children shouldn't be taught about homosexual relationships just as much as heterosexual ones, or that it's perfectly fine for men to sleep around but not for women, you are wrong. So yes luv, I and most of the people in this thread are right

Offence is taken not given. He called his brother (who he describes as his best friend and trainer) a fag. If oversensitive little flowers want to queue up to be offended by that then it is them with the problem.

Very common name....are you absolutely sure it's his twitter page ....cud even be a fake Twitter page....wud need something more concrete before I wud judge him....also 2012 was 4 years ago and people can change and grow up...if it's true and he still thinks that way then it will be apparent anyway once we see more of him...it's all too soon to make judgements like that....

One thing people need to sake solace in when encountering opinions like these and that for the most part, the majority of the people who hold them will not be around forever

It's a generational thing, and thankfully such outdated views are very close to becoming extinct

I keep hearing the underlined delusion but nobody ever supports it with figures.

Do you have any stats to that effect?

Here's some stats I found that relate to certain gay rights issues

Source

Source

As you can see, for each question the 18-24 age brackets are more in favour of what is being asked compared to 40-59 and 60+ age brackets

Also:

Quote:
However, there remains a degree of variation among demographic groups when it comes to supporting gay marriage. Almost nine in ten (88%) of 18-34 year olds think that homosexual couples should be able to marry each other, but a minority (43%) of those aged over 65 think the same way. This is in line with Ipsos MORI’s generational analysis on the subject, which also shows views towards same-sex relations becoming more liberal over time; but with a clear generational pattern.
