I did, that's where I learnt what I just posted. It's about 8-1..to the abbreviation...bc has popped up since phones came into use..it's been an abbreviation for years and years and years and years.

Well in that case I think you should not be using SD but calling it by it's proper name of serious debates. If you want bc gone I think it only fair you have the SD abbreviation eradicated too because it could cause confusion.

Abbreviations are ok, and it is fairly obvious that SD means serious debate so it is used legally on this forum by intelligent posters to hurry the discussion along, it isn't used as a selfish tool of laziness like bc is when posters use it.

I must admit I find it hard to understand, I can't type what goes through my head sometimes when I see it..especially what I can imagine TS to be like in real life.


But it's also a lazy cheat, heck I'm probably the worst for it but I try my hardest not to do it, I even try and check I haven't. If I miss it it's just my ignorance, TS is better than that.

I haven't seen what happened in the other thread, but it does sort of look like Arista is nit picking at TS and using any excuse me can to have a dig at him. Something as little as demanding a ban on using bc instead of because is probably the most childish thing I've seen on this forum tbh. There's been many ludicrous threads over the years but this is probably the worst.

I think rather than pull TS upmi the other thread and make a big hoo Haa in that thread about it, arista has brought the subject of what is or not allowed on the forum into the correct area of the forum...like anyone can do and should do....everyone else is just teasing every one else while we wait on the mods to sort the question.
