If this was anyone else, there would be a lack of sympathy given that he likely got it by travelling abroad for a holiday. I don't wish him ill, but I struggle to sympathise with anyone who gets covid when they travel abroad for non-essential reasons.

Don't understand why people are claiming he caught it in Barbados when he caught it a month later.
Travel was allowed along as you keep to the laws and restrictions in each country something he did but the young social media influences refused to do

Bless him.
His attitude was one of the most endearing things about him too. He had an incredible last year of his life and in a few ways, he helped bring some relief and inspiration to others in theirs. A sad day, however from the 1940s to the last year of his life. Quite a gift to the World was Sir Captain Tom.
