It was an acceptable retcon. It was a terrible story move by SOC.

That's the thing with SOC though, it wasn't even a story move as he did nothing with it.

He changed all kinds, and did bizarre things, but none of them made an actual storyline.

Even his main "plot" of Weyland was a hot mess of random things happening every other month.

The other problem being it looks like they demolished the set and it's only the stairs and office they've replicated just yet.

Most of the club's scenes to be Jack trying to dick her down in the office whilst we see strobe lights through the frosted glass to make it look like they're actually in a club?
