Nah, Lukaku have never gelled well at Chelsea, dunno what it is. He might be consistent in Serie A, but he can't replicate that kinda form in the PL, didn't do for Utd, never has for Chelsea.

Bowen ( an England player ) just tried a volley in the box and it sailed miles wide but he immediately claimed a corner despite it being abundantly clear that bit was nowhere near the defender in real time nor slow-no replays …

Minutes later when Antonio was rampaging down the wing the young Everton CB Branthwaite jumped into the tackle recklessly and took out Antonio’s standing leg .. Branthwaite looked and smiled like an innocent choirboy and smiled as he avoided a certain yellow card !!

Antonio limped out of the game seconds later

I wouldn't mind Blues and Man Utd swapping Managers tbh.

I think that it's a fair trade considering how the players have treated Ten Hag this season.

And with Fernandes, being brutally honest he is a waste of space, he goes missing so often in games it isn't even funny.

And that's taking away from the fact that he shoots like he thinks that he is playing Rugby.

I hope that Man Utd will eventually get back on track, but at the moment it is being badly run by the owners, and the players have a terrible attitude.

Granted Ten Hag hasn't always brought in the best players, but we all know that Man Utd have had issues long before Ten Hag was there, and they probably will once he is sacked.

The first thing that Man Utd needs to fix, is for the ownership to back the Manager on who comes in, and who goes out of the club.

The reasoning behind not captaining Thiago is because Poch is looking to the future. Otherwise I'd agree with you.

But Chelsea have bigger problems than finding a non injury prone captain atm.
