Indeed.

We're several generations away from WW2 now, people aren't really interested in it, generally. They don't have the connection with it that previous generations had. Wars we've been involved in since have not involved a home front as the war's been fought far away and only families of service personnel are really affected. These days I find particularly younger people are happy to use the hard fought-for freedoms against this country. For instance... to hold a march on Armistice day is legal. I doubt anyone could claim it's moral.

You can't simply equate marching on a certain day for a certain cause as being wholly anti-United Kingdom and immoral unless you're claiming to be the vanguard of some objective semblance of correct national standards and practices.

Evidently hundreds of thousands - if not millions - of people will be able to claim it's moral. Plenty of other people will find it disrespectful. And they're - without question - fully entitled to air that view.

Some of the mental gymnastics this must be giving the wor-it's-all-gone-woke free speech fundamentalists must take quite the amount of cognitive doping.
