If you are mobilised you are at risk of being rushed or shot. To reduce this risk, while practicing your 2nd amendment rights I'd sit down or cuff myself to something.
You can protest perfectly well sat still with nothing on you to be considered a weapon.

That way if you are killed or assaulted there's no way the blame can be put on you.

Martin Luthor King preached peace and he was killed for it, LGBT rights didn't really get it's start until a riot broke out in opposition to polcie brutality.

Sometimes you have to rage to make a change, peaceful protests won't work when the game is rigged against you, better to cast aside the board and let anger lead the way.

I agree, almost all rights we have someone protested blood sweat and tears for and were hard won. Rules are great, society needs rules and laws and order but it has to be equal or it doesn't work.

By and large, the civil rights movement and LGBT activists have what they wanted. Police getting away with murder is pretty much the last thing that needs to change, and destroying cities isn't going to do that,

I don't think the civil rights movement have what they want when black people are being killed by police officers for nothing but all the progress that has been made so far has started off with anger and riots. You are LGBT, are you not? The reason why you can be prideful in yourself now is because trans women and drag queens of colour raged against the police at Stonewall, that was the match that lit the fuse and began the movement towards a seachange.

Buildings can be repaired, insurance is a thing but you can't bring someone back to life but you can rage against the entities that are responsible for that loss of life.
